Under the direction of the Director of Purchasing and Marketing, this position is responsible for performing a wide variety of administrative and clerical duties and to add value and profit to Jordano’s Food Service through effective marketing of our company to sales and our customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinates sales, meetings, including working with hotels and sending out vendor notifications and reminders, track and reports on the effectiveness of marketing promotions (new items, sales spiffs, etc.). Works collaboratively with team in support of all marketing events/promotion and assists and maintains the marketing calendar. Also responsible to provide flyers recaps and processes payment approvals for billing vendors. Design marketing brochures, flyers, newsletter, and coordinates advertising for website and digital media efforts. Assists in the development of social media campaigns such as Facebook and LinkedIn. Writes, edits and proofreads marketing copy and serves as liaison for print and digital advertising. Perform other related duties as required and assigned
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Communication or related field; and/or minimum 2 to 3 years working in a marketing assistant capacity. Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience working in Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with content management systems such as WordPress, Constant Contact, etc.
Excellent organizational skills, strong communication and proofreader skills. Detail oriented and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
